If Hervé Liberman, regional councillor, President of the Sport and Preparation of the 2024 Olympic Games Commission, praised the constant investment of the City for sport, Frédéric Vigouroux, Mayor of Miramas, and Philippe Jarton, President of the OMS, thanked all the associations and volunteers, without whom nothing would be possible.
To close this day, a tribute was paid to Christophe Joffroy, former high level athlete of the Miramas Athletic Club and technical manager at the Miramas Metropole Stadium, with the laying of a commemorative plaque on the weight room of the Stadium, named after him.
